Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AnesthAssist, a planning workspace for pre-Anesthesiologist Assistant students. By accessing or using AnesthAssist, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

AnesthAssist is an informational tool designed to help students research AA programs, track prerequisites, and organize deadlines and next steps. We are not affiliated with any AA program or school, and we do not guarantee admission, interview invitations, or any specific outcome.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use AnesthAssist.
• One person per account — accounts are not transferable.

When using AnesthAssist, you agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from the platform.
• Upload malicious content or attempt to disrupt the service.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any AA program.

We work hard to keep program details (deadlines, prerequisites, GPA requirements, etc.) as accurate and up-to-date as possible. However, this information can change at any time at the discretion of individual programs. Always verify critical details directly with the program before making decisions based on information found on AnesthAssist.

You own the data you put into AnesthAssist. See our Privacy Policy for full details. In short:

• Your academic data stays yours.
• We don't sell your personal information. We use service providers (like authentication and database hosting) to run the product, as described in the Privacy Policy.
• You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

AnesthAssist is currently in beta. During the beta period, access is provided free of charge unless we state otherwise in-product. We may introduce paid plans or limits in the future; if we do, we'll provide reasonable advance notice and describe what's changing.

We aim to keep AnesthAssist available and reliable, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. If we make changes that significantly affect your use of the service, we'll give you reasonable notice.

AnesthAssist is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, AnesthAssist and its team disclaim warranties and limit liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, and for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for claims arising out of these Terms or the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (if any) or (b) $100 USD.

You are responsible for confirming program requirements, deadlines, and policies directly with each program you apply to.

You can stop using AnesthAssist at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or possible legal exposure, or need to do so to comply with law. Where practical, we'll provide a way to export or delete your data consistent with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make meaningful changes, we'll notify you via email or a notice within the app. Continued use of AnesthAssist after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
